The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) will expand and upgrade the PRCS Paediatric & Obstetric Hospital in Hebron with a 10.000 m2 building, with financing from the Dutch government and the Islamic Development Bank. After completion of a feasibility study for the project, AMPC was appointed as technical consultant to the PRCS Project Management Unit, to provide procurement services and act as independent supervisor. The procurement services include the development of tender documentation to select a design team, a building contractor and equipment suppliers, as well as bid evaluation and contract negotiations. Once these parties are selected, AMPC will supervise the design, construction and equipping of the PRCS hospital extension to ensure high-quality work and compliance with the contractual terms. Specific attention will be given to managing the interface between the contractor and the equipment suppliers to ensure all parties work towards the same goal and the project will stay within scope, budget and schedule.
