- Dhulikhel Hospital

AMPC was asked to explore the feasibility of introducing a comprehensive model of high-quality maternal and newborn health service delivery in two districts of Nepal, involving Dhulikhel Hospital, several of its Outreach Centres and government Health Centres. The feasibility study examined the implementation of a comprehensive package of technologies and services including equipment and facilities to deliver emergency obstetric and neonatal care, maternity waiting homes, electronic medical records, telemedicine solutions, a quality assurance system and community awareness raising. AMPC developed functional and technical terms of reference for all project components and a full business case to be used by Dhulikhel Hospital to procure financing for project implementation.
