- Beira General Hospital

Over the period 2010-2013, AMPC supported the Ministry of Health of Mozambique (MISAU) with the development of a feasibility study for the establishment of two new hospitals in Sofala Province, and additional technical, social and environmental studies. Once financing was secured in 2015, MISAU contracted AMPC to realise the detailed designs for Beira General Hospital, a 300-bed hospital to be located in Beira, the country's third largest city. The assignment included architecture, structural engineering, electrical engineering, plumbing, HVAC, ICT and medical gases. Also, a detailed equipment planning was developed for Beira General Hospital including functional and technical specifications for each equipment item and pre-installation requirements.
