Focus Medical Company, one of the healthcare companies of the Saudi Bin Laden Group, was exploring the possibility of establishing a private medical city in the Casablanca area. They employed Capital Consulting, a Moroccan management consultancy firm to carry out a feasibility study for the project. Capital Consulting subcontracted AMPC to contribute its healthcare expertise to the project. AMPC provided input into the definition of the clinical scope of services and developed 10-year demand projections for key services based on a needs and demand analysis. Also, AMPC’s interactive financial model was adapted to the specific characteristics of the project and projections were made for investment costs as well as operational costs and revenues. The outcomes of the financial modelling supported decision-making on the optimum project design to ensure commercial viability of the project.
