The Snapper Hill Clinic in Monrovia, Liberia, is a well-established outpatient facility that has been operational since 1982 and attends over 11 thousand patients per year. Snapper Hill Clinic Ltd. planned to expand the clinic into the first mixed-use medical centre in Liberia with first class facilities to offer inpatient and outpatient care as well as space for health education, accommodation, food services, retail activities and medical offices. In 2014, the Clinic requested AMPC to provide support and supervision during the functional design, construction and commissioning phases of the building of the new Centre. AMPC’s contract included providing a comprehensive package of project management and advisory services related to the construction and opening of the Centre. This included functional capacity planning, defining the space requirements and the development of conceptual layouts and floor plans for the Centre. Furthermore, AMPC offered procurement support for tendering the Design & Build contract and supervision of the detailed architectural and engineering design for the Centre.
