Over 2018-2019, AMPC developed a business plan for the establishment of St Michael’s Specialist Hospital (SMSH), a 90-bed private hospital in Lapaz, Accra offering general inpatient and outpatient services as well as specialist services such as cardiac care, day surgery, haemodialysis and IVF. AMPC supported DAP Motors in securing Dutch export credit financing for the project and was contracted in 2020 as the turnkey contractor for the design, construction and equipping of the new hospital. Over the upcoming two years AMPC will be entirely responsible for all project activities required to handover a fully functional hospital building for SMSH to start its operations.
