The Dr. Horacio E. Oduber Hospital (HOH), Aruba's only hospital, is a 300-beds general hospital that initiated a major renovation and expansion of its facilities in 2014. AMPC was hired to provide turnkey procurement services of the required furniture, fixtures, finishes and equipment (FF&E). First of all this entailed a revision of the existing Bills of Quantities and the development of a procurement strategy . The FF&E items were subdivided into 32 lots and AMPC developed the tender documents and contracts to put each lot on the market separately. Bid evaluation and contract negotiations with the successful bidders were also carried out by AMPC on behalf of the hospital. By the end of 2017 all contracts were signed and the first equipment batches were supplied. The final part of AMPC's assignment entails the supervision of the equipment installation, training and commissioning.
