Kyrgyzstan

- Impact assessment

With the financial support of the Government of Japan, UNICEF implemented two consecutive projects between 2014 and 2022 to improve universal coverage of quality healthcare services with a focus on mother and child health in three regions (Oblasts) of Kyrgyzstan. Part of the interventions conducted within these projects consisted of the renovation of healthcare infrastructure, the provision of life-saving medical equipment to healthcare facilities, and capacity building of healthcare providers on equipment use. These interventions aimed to improve the quality of perinatal and child health services and the survival of mothers and children. AMPC was contracted by UNICEF to provide independent consultancy services to develop tailored data collection tools, analyze data and document on the impact and results of the projects’ interventions.
