The Federal Government of Nigeria decided on the establishment of a new tertiary referral hospital in Kaduna State, to be operated by the Kaduna State Government. The Islamic Development Bank is financing the medical and non-medical equipment for the new hospital and AMPC was contracted to provide equipment procurement advisory services and support to Kaduna State MoH's Project Management Unit. This entails a revision of the equipment planning for the 300-bed Specialist Hospital; the development of tender documents, specifications and contracts; bid evaluation and support during contract negotiations; and supervising the delivery, installation, user training and commissioning of the equipment by the selected suppliers.
