The Republic of Ivory Coast and KfW have signed an agreement for a health program entitled “Strengthening the Health System”. The program aims to improve the quality and the use of health services regarding sexual and reproductive health and HIV prevention. Together with our partner GFA consultants, AMPC is responsible for the technical implementation of this project. The project is implemented in the regions Loh Djiboua and Haut Sassandra and consists of 2 components. The first component focuses on rehabilitation of health facility infrastructure, equipment, clinical and technical training, quality assurance and maintenance. The second component addresses reproductive health by implementing awareness training combined with family planning measures. The project commenced in December 2018 and is planned over 4 years. AMPC’s role is to supervise the architectural designs for the rehabilitation of health facilities, to support the selection of equipment and maintenance thereof and to advise on the management of Hospital Waste.
