Asia Royal Hospital (ARH) is one of the most well-known and frequently visited private hospitals in Yangon. During the past two decades, Asia Royal Hospital has contributed significantly to caring for patients from low and middle-income groups in Yangon and neighboring areas. To address the increased demand for quality and specialist health services in Myanmar, the hospital has made it a priority to further improve its services and expertise. In line with this priority, the hospital has started construction of a new building to house cardiac and emergency services. DEG, the German Investment and Development Corporation, committed to provide a loan to Asia Royal Hospital to fund equipment and complete interior facilities for the new hospital building. As part of DEG’s due diligence process, Asia Royal contracted AMPC to act as and Independent Engineer to conduct cost, quality and progress control activities to ensure that the works are conducted according to plan prior to loan disbursement.
