The Tanzanian non-governamental healthcare provider CCBRT formed a Public Private Partnership with the government of Tanzania to establish the CCBRT Maternity & Newborn Hospital which will provide care for high-risk and emergency deliveries in Dar es Salaam and the Eastern Zone of Tanazania. Construction of the CCBRT Maternity & Newborn Hospital started in 2015 and AMPC was contracted to provide equipment services to CCBRT. The scope of the contract includes supporting procurement of all medical and non-medical equipment and furniture; the supervision of equipment commissioning; and the design and implementation of a maintenance strategy, including the purchase of specialist maintenance management software, establishment of service contracts for high-end equipment, and training of CCBRT’s maintenance technicians to provide high-quality maintenance service.
