PharmAccess Foundation Nigeria and the Enterprise Development Centre of the Pan-Atlantic University in Lagos partnered to develop the Health Management Programme (HMP), a certificate programme for healthcare entrepreneurs in Nigeria and West-Africa. The HMP combines business leadership, management and entrepreneurship courses with specific healthcare modules. AMPC facilitated two modules of this executive course. The first module focussed on the strategic planning process for a new healthcare facility or the expansion of an existing one. And the second module on facilities management, including equipment procurement and management. The course was attended by CEOs, medical directors and administrators of some of the major private healthcare facilities in Lagos as well as representatives from HMOs and the Lagos State Ministry of Health.
